Avery, a 22 year old at the DPD is partnered with Hank and Connor, the android sent by CyberLife to deal with deviants. However he's relatively lenient and sympathetic towards androids and even talked with android jesus before he became android jesus so he's got it going.

From playing in traffic, getting kicked in the face, dangling off buildings, and a lot more life threatening experiences, Avery probably deserves a nap or two.
