Corvus' heart has been still for a moon too long, a moon too short to accept it. They've wrapped it in thread and roses (mind the thorns), playing dress up with a corpse.
Corvus can smell death. It's the only semblance to the feeling of ' home ' they will ever have. Perhaps this is why Diluc Ragnvindr's waning heartbeat draws them in.
Diluc never new death could be so pretty; nor that a delusion would kill him at thirty.
