CODE labs. The name gives away most - a highly secretive science lab practically in the middle of nowhere...and also where Alice has been given the opportunity to work.

They say some secrets are never meant to be uncovered except the boy in the building's 'basement' is full of mysteries waiting to be solved:

First, the constant colour change of his eyes.
Second, the inhumane precision with every bodily movement.
Third, the way he puts on an innocent front when a single touch can promise fatality.
Fourth...how despite the obvious danger that lurks around him, the pull Alice feels towards him is heightened with each passing second.

Then there's the matter of her father's death, which although was thought to be the fault of a car accident, now seems to be linked with something the happened within the lab facility. What was one thought an accident, is now playing out to be a murder, one of which the culprit has not yet been discovered and still walks amongst the same walls as Alice in the present day.

Where secrets whisper death and lies cover up such tragedies, it makes you wonder just how far people are willing to go to bury unwanted truths. People can't be trusted, but what if the enemies are closer than you think?

What if the boy in the 'basement' is the centre of it all?
