I held his hand countless of times, but it will never be enough. I knew since the first day that it was him, I will be risking all into. They say what we have was fleeting. A time so short, wasted into something ridiculous. 

Yet I continued. We both did. It was like holding on to a burning coal, it gave me warmth and light, but it also scorched my skin and left me with burns that would never heal.
