After the successful mission in "Top Gun: Maverick", Rooster and Hangman come to terms with their rivalry, while concurrently dealing with their individual pasts. Maverick continues to wrestle with his own past and attempts to build his future away from Top Gun. Rooster finds himself in the center of all this turmoil.

I am not a writer. But when I saw Top Gun: Maverick, I "saw" this story in my head, and had to write it down. It began as a short story (Chapter 1), and when I showed it to my sister, she told me that I had to keep writing. So I did.
