deja vu : sim jake

The 4th year High School teacher announced that there will be a transfer student coming from Australia and a smile hints on Jae's face upon hearing about it. Specifically- Brisbane. That's where she used to live- made lots of friends and had her first love. That was a place of many memories for her- whether the bad ones that caused conflict and anguish in her mind at night or the good ones where she could just bask in freedom and happiness without a single care in the world- all of them were memorable to her.

But why was that place so important to her, other than the fact that she was born and raised there, until she had to move to New York because of her parent's jobs? Well... like I mentioned earlier, her first love. That meant knowing each other for almost their entire lives, and him confessing he liked her on the last day of middle school- her leaving before he could even say he loved her. They never really confirmed anything serious- but to Jae, it was love.
