Living in the Shadows
****IN EDITING**** Liza was used to living in the shadows. By day she works in the cafe on the corner of 6th and Main Street. But by night, she lays in her room singing songs that no one will ever hear as tears stain her pillows. 20 years ago, her father was the most beloved Superhero, Sunburst, but age has taken its toll on him and his gone into hiding as and every day joe. Too many nights at the bar have left him in an vengeful trance, and he take his anger out on the only person left with him. Confusion had turned his heart cold as he figures out the he was never a hero. He just wanted the attention, but a conscience got the best of him and he retreated into hiding. So everyday he sits in a cafe, trying to work up courage to say hello the the girl who serves him coffee every day. Jesse Sharpe is just a normal barista working at a hole-in-the-wall coffeeshop, at least that's what it looks like on the outside. Her supernatural speed sets her apart, though no one would know that because, three years ago, she didn't exist in this world. Three years ago, she broke through the dimensional barrier between her universe and this one, and decided to stick around when she discovered the most delightful invention in the multiverse; coffee. Luckily, there's one other person in the city who shares her immense love of caffeine. Tony Stark. With his offer, becoming the Avengers' Barista is easier than expect, but that made keeping her inherited speed from them practically impossible. Especially while practically living under their roof and with a certain green eyed god of mischief right next door.
