Apart from escaping their own nightmares, they have to outrun a lethal virus and infected zombies. 

Preoccupied with fleeing zombies , they lack the foresight of what lies ahead which is far worse than death.

The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans.
