There is a tradition at Beauxbaton that has long been forgotten: just before the winter break, all students attend "Soirée Enchanteresse" - a grand ball for all graduates, where some lucky witches and wizards are bonded forever through magic of dance. Trying to prepare for the dance or pick your partner in advance is futile - the enchanting music finds those who are meant to be, fuses them in one captivating dance and leaves them to fend for themselves.
Violet Pale is Beauxbatons' star student - she's charming, intelligent and euphoric when she hears the that the Beauxbaton is bringing back the Soirée in her 6th year.
However, this is not the only piece of news that will alter her school year - word is, they're getting a new transfer from Hogwarts. Someone she knows well, who seems to be more trouble than he's worth... Or is he?
