They say life is a never ending marathon, you run and run until your lungs collapse, until you can't seem to breath anymore.
Humans have always been running well technically we started crawling then walking but you get what I mean. We run when we chase the morning train or bus, we run when we're late for class or work. We run because we want to run away from something, it could be for a number of reasons but all I know is that we run like hell so it won't trap us in because if it does then its game over.
Lately I find myself to be running away from you only for you to come and find me instead.

Altered
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
