Matangos ang ilong, mapupungay na mga mata, mapulang labi.  Isang babaeng may maamong mukha, makinis, at balingkinitang pangangatawan. 'Yan si Dianne.

"Dianne, will you be my girlfriend?"

Napalingon ito sa makisig na lalaking ngayo'y may mga matang napupuno ng pag-asa. May hawak itong bulaklak na agad namang tinanggap ng dalaga.

"Jake..." Nakangiting sabi ni Dianne.

Naghiyawan ang mga kaibigan at mga estudyanteng nakapalibot sa dalawa, tuwang-tuwa sa eksenang nasisilayan. May iilan rin ang nakasimangot dahil harang sila sa daan.
