Finney Blake used to tutor Vance Hopper when they were younger but they didn't exactly end on the best of terms. Now in highscool, Finney gives people dating advice in exchange for money though he finds himself in over his head when Vance comes running for his help trying to get the attention of a certain Bruce Yamada, but the fact that they're older doesn't change much and they fall into old habits quickly.

Finney move there 5 months ago in elementary and only been able to make friends with billy and Bruce. There was no secret the three boys kept for each other so they basically knew everything about each other but finney couldn't bare telling them about his abusive father, he didn't want to break they're hearts. But once finney mom died it change him since he the one who found her and they two boys knew it, finney wasn't right and attempt five times. They all fail but finney always wonder why, finney met robin in his 5th grade year of elementary . Finney fell hard for the boy and confessed in his 7th grade year which robin accepted. Robin Arellano always got bullied by Finney Blake and his friends Bruce Yamada and Vance Hopper Robin didn't really care Robin had other problems to worry about his Uncle David, Abusing him and his mother he tried his hardest to protect his mother Carmen, He got good grades never got in trouble but his uncle always found a reason to beat them the same situation was with Finney his father abused him and his sister thats mostly why he acts out he wants to piss his dad off he loved to rebel but he protected his little sister Gwen, He took all the hits for her he didn't care what it took ever since their mother died their father blamed Finney and thats why Finney bullies people he wants to get in trouble and let his stress out but one day Robin spotted Finney talking to his sister Gwen about something unexpected he never thought he went through. 18 year old Vance Hopper was super into rock, metal, and all that kind of music. He even picked up drums and electric guitar, of course only playing when he was at his best friend's apartment due to his abusive father not allowing any of that stuff in his home. Surprisingly he had a crush on someone. Someone who's practically the opposite of him. Meanwhile, 17 year old Bruce Yamada is in the top orchestra, along with the top of his class, on violin. He's sorta into classical music, but never really listened to it outside of class and practice. Concerts always gave him a kick of energy, but after a while he wanted more, and his girlfriend was no help. She was plain, kinda boring, and was a goody-two shoes like Bruce.
