In this world people can be born with two abilities.
80% of the population are born with their first, a quirk that they develop at the age of four.
The second is a quirk-like power given to them later in life by an item that they have an odd, special connection to.
But, what if Deku not only was in that lucky 80%, but had a strong quirk? And a villain promised him his item, the item that would guarantee his place in the upper echelon of society? And all he had to do was get into the UA hero course and... leak a little information?
The up-in-coming heroes could handle a little roughing up anyways, so, what did it matter that he was "betraying" them? He just wanted to his item.

I don't own MHA, or the characters involved in this story. The only thing I own is certain plot points.
I would also like to preface this with it may not be written the best. I'm little out of practice with 1st person writing and I'm kinda bad at spacing out a plot enough for it to be... good? Grammar also isn't my strong suit.

My Quirkless Hero (an mha alternate story)
(New Chapters once or twice during the week.) Izuku has dreamt his entire life on being a superhero, a common goal for many who have superpowers known as quirks but difficult for people like Izuku. In a world where 80% of the population has a quirk, Izuku Midoriya wasn't born with one, but that wont stop him from entering into the UA, one of the most prestigious superhero schools. For years, the quirkless have been banned from joining any form of superhero school, and Izuku has been one of the first few to have been admitted into the hero course without a quirk. With his keen intellect in machinery and being a passionate builder since he was young, Izuku hopes to use these traits of his to become the first quirkless hero, hoping to fully show the world that truly anyone can be a hero. (These characters don't belong to me, and instead belong to the original author Kohei Horikoshi who created my hero academia. I'm simply trying to write a what if story on how my hero academia would have looked like if Horikoshi had done a quirkless Midoriya story instead, which was his original take on the story! It's also meant to be a revision on the original manga, improving some things or extending certain arcs or characters. If I use any images or artwork, all credits go towards the original artists. Thank you so much! :)] Perhaps it's not the best idea to pass on a quirk to someone who's dream you just crushed, they could've already started planning something. Izuku Midoriya was always a kid dedicated to his dream of becoming a hero, even if it was far, far away from reach. But after having a terrible day as is, his idol said he could never reach it because he was too weak. Well, that was the last straw for him, and from then on he gave up on his previous dream, and started a new one, one that would prove them all right, in the worst way possible. And his used to be idol was stupid enough to give him his quirk, on top of that he got another from his new leader, so now he had more power than little him ever could dream of. And with that power, he would do the worst things, and make everyone fear what he was capable of •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I present to you all, almost the plot of the My Hero Academia anime (so far in 2021), but told by Deku if he was a villain. At four years old, Izuku Yagi is diagnosed as quirkless while his twin sister Izumi has powerful telekinesis. It is also when he's four years old that his parents start to forget about him. But that won't stop him from achieving his dream of becoming a hero. Nothing will. Not being forgotten by his parents. Not being beat by his sister and childhood friend near daily. After all, All Might says that anyone can be a hero. "It's nice to have a dream, but keep it realistic." Abandoned once again, this time with his dream crushed, he takes his childhood friend's advice. 'Take a swan dive off the roof and pray for a quirk in your next life!' The only problem?
