In this world people can be born with two abilities.
80% of the population are born with their first, a quirk that they develop at the age of four.
The second is a quirk-like power given to them later in life by an item that they have an odd, special connection to.
But, what if Deku not only was in that lucky 80%, but had a strong quirk? And a villain promised him his item, the item that would guarantee his place in the upper echelon of society? And all he had to do was get into the UA hero course and... leak a little information?
The up-in-coming heroes could handle a little roughing up anyways, so, what did it matter that he was "betraying" them? He just wanted to his item.

I don't own MHA, or the characters involved in this story. The only thing I own is certain plot points.
I would also like to preface this with it may not be written the best. I'm little out of practice with 1st person writing and I'm kinda bad at spacing out a plot enough for it to be... good? Grammar also isn't my strong suit.

Izuku Midoriya was always a kid dedicated to his dream of becoming a hero, even if it was far, far away from reach. But after having a terrible day as is, his idol said he could never reach it because he was too weak. Well, that was the last straw for him, and from then on he gave up on his previous dream, and started a new one, one that would prove them all right, in the worst way possible. And his used to be idol was stupid enough to give him his quirk, on top of that he got another from his new leader, so now he had more power than little him ever could dream of. And with that power, he would do the worst things, and make everyone fear what he was capable of •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I present to you all, almost the plot of the My Hero Academia anime (so far in 2021), but told by Deku if he was a villain. This may get confusing and the plot may not make a lot of sense but I'm trying, it's kinda hard to remember specific time lengths. A my hero academia fan fiction where All Might didn't lose the slime monster... and Izuku, dreams freshly crushed, decides to help in a way even a "quirkless Deku" like him could. He becomes an information broker for the heroes. Because while his dream had always been to be a hero, his goal had always- and will always- be helping others, and come he'll or high water, he would not give up on that. With this in mind he began analyzing quirks and training his brain so he could surpass even analytical quirks. And further so his information would surpass all other's. And like that his name began to spread- Deku, the top quirk analyst, with his all seeing quirk Pantomath. I make nothing from this, except excuses for what I do with my time. At four years old, Izuku Yagi is diagnosed as quirkless while his twin sister Izumi has powerful telekinesis. It is also when he's four years old that his parents start to forget about him. But that won't stop him from achieving his dream of becoming a hero. Nothing will. Not being forgotten by his parents. Not being beat by his sister and childhood friend near daily. After all, All Might says that anyone can be a hero. "It's nice to have a dream, but keep it realistic." Abandoned once again, this time with his dream crushed, he takes his childhood friend's advice. 'Take a swan dive off the roof and pray for a quirk in your next life!' The only problem?
