Raining In Remnant (Risk of Rain 2 and RWBY Crossover)

There have been reports of disappearing ships and crew members happening somewhere in space. No one knew where it was happening until a ship managed to send a distress signal to its location.

Now, taken out of retirement for another mission, an old captain was assigned to investigate the mysterious area in search for any lost cargo and most importantly, lost survivors. Given the UES Safe Travels for this mission, he travels to the area to find an unexpected surprise waiting for him.

Authors Important Note: You should please know that this is simply my own interpretation of both the Risk of Rain timeline and the RWBY storyline based on the other fanfics I have been reading here. So DO NOT take anything seriously here and any offense. This is purely made out of boredom and the lack of ROR fanfictions out there and isn't meant to stay true to any of the lore in both of these stories.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I have watched through some of RWBY to have more knowledge to write this story and decided that make the RWBY characters and timeline take place before the events of Volume 3.
