After their victory against the Zeniths, Aloy decided to pay a visit to Erend in Hidden Ember. As she was working out her feelings for her best friend, her relationship took an unexpected turn as the pair was disturbed by an intruder Erend has known... maybe a bit too well.

As they set up for an epic quest to retrieve a rogue AI and save the world, this will unfold a series of events that will force both of them to face old - and new - demons... And maybe this will also push Aloy and Erend to figure out the next step of their relationship.
