When scrapper and former Jedi Cal Kestis' life explodes in his face after a single accident at work, he's thrown into the hands of a former Jedi Master, a gambler/pilot, and a girl that's just a little too skilled with a blaster and Vibro knife, Cal is forced to dig in deep inside himself and try and trust the three, while also helping rebuild the order. But when everything goes wrong, and Cal is severely injured while on Zeffo, he's left to trust this mysterious girl he's barely known for a month with his life. And the last thing he expected was to fall in love with her.

Cal Kestis is a Jedi, a former Padawan who survived Order 66 after the death of his Master, Jaro Tapal. After escaping the Second Sister, and meeting the crew on the Mantis, Cere and Greez aren't the only ones he meets. Kylin Gailes is a human girl from Coruscant, living in a small home after the death of her parents. But when Order 66 destroyed the Jedi Order, Kylin was forced to live in the streets. She believes in the Jedi Order, and wished it could be restored. Five years after Order 66, and still living in the streets, Kylin gets picked up by the Mantis, staying with the crew for five months before Cal's arrival. Now, as Cal begins his journey to restore the Jedi Order, he and Kylin journey through the galaxy to restore peace and fight the Empire. But as the journey continues, Cal doesn't see Kylin as just a friend anymore. Can he keep his head in the game while protecting Kylin? Or will he screw up and get them both killed? I only own Kylin and her story, as well as parts of the plot. This is an AU. It will follow most of the plot line. Some quotes will be direct, others will not. He doesn't say anything and I don't hear her. I start to panic. "Nothing, yet." "If you touch her-" "What Luke?!" He cuts me off. I bite my lip and pass my hand through my hair. "What could you possibly do to me that you haven't already done?!" My eyes starts to water. This lunatic would hurt her and I knew he would. "I beg you," I tell him. "I'll do anything you want. Just leave her be. I'll meet you wherever you want. Take me, please, just leave her out of this." I hear Jasmen crying. "See, but where would all the fun be in that? I could smack you around, take away your fancy cars, and you'd be fine. But if I do this-" I hear Jasmen screaming again. What the hell was he doing to her? I swore the minute I got the chance too, I was going to kill him. "No, please stop! For fuck sake, please!!" I felt helpless. I was letting her down in the biggest way. "See what I mean. This beautiful doll is your Achilles heel man. And you won't like it, she won't like it, but I am going to enjoy this next part." Having uprooted her entire life for love, Jasmen finds herself stuck in London with Heartbreak and penniless. She soon finds a job at a big company and falls for CEO, Lucas Bowers. Rey's eyes widened as Kylo ran towards her full speed ripping his helmet off, the rain soaking his hair and face. She gasped as his hand came around her and gripped the back of her neck, pulling her into an angry kiss. Shock radiated through her whole body, paralyzing her legs. She gripped his arms as they caged her, keeping her from escaping. "I'd be damned if I let you slip through my fingers again." ~*~Summary~*~ Set after the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Rey is sent by General Organa on an important mission to infiltrate the First Order from within, feed helpful information to the General and bring Ben Solo home. In order for the mission to succeed, Rey has to do something she never imagined herself doing. Take the hand of her enemy and join him by his side. ****Please keep in mind this is my first fan fiction and you will encounter errors/mistakes and misspelling. This story contains the original characters from TLJ as well as my own spin on some of them. (Meaning I actually gave the Knights of Ren personalities. 🤗)
Confronting Fear

Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
