Once they were childhood friends, turned to strangers and ended up hating on each other. These conflicts started with their parents who wants them to get married but got a great rejection by each of them, they both have a huge fight with the parents.
However, after a few persuasion from Mrs. Gu and her mother, Ai Qi finally agreed but not with Zhou Shen who's still standing strong with his opinion but at the end he finally agreed. Despite to not make her falling in love with him, he tells that his heart still couldn't let go of his ex-girlfriend, Nana who once got rejected by his mother.
The truth is still far beyond anyone's expectation.
However, when her heart got stuck with his charms and his hidden kind side, she couldn't let him be anyone else's instead of hers. It's like she fell in love again with him but this time with his cold shoulder. He might never be the Zhou Shen that she knew when they're little but she wanted to love this new Zhou Shen that already stole her heart.
After conflicts by conflicts passed, she discovered the truth that he's been hiding from her. However there's a thing that makes her heart ache so bad. The main reason why he came back after stayed a long period of time at UK and choosed to not accept the marriage.
