The Amulet of the Halflings

Leah is a young Japanese girl. She is an angel-cat hybrid who can fly and has a lot of cat-like features and reactions. She has a lot of powers that aid her from day-to-day life, but if used too much, it can result in her passing out depending on how much energy she used.

Meruki is part sea monster, and she likes exploring, which is part of the reason why she is a pirate captain. Her ship is called the Abyss Aurora. Meruki can switch between her normal form and sea monster form at command. Meruki can also make herself taller or shorter, and swim for long periods of time.

This story takes place when they're in highschool. Leah and Meruki are best friends and like to often talk and go to their hangout spot.

(There are two people writing this story- so things don't get confusing, Komet (the one who's typing this part right now) will always write in Leah's POV unless told differently at the beginning of the story while Ghosteii (my friend who is also writing this story) will always write in Meruki's POV unless stated otherwise.)
