Mayor Garrison has only one rule: NEVER cross over to the town over. As Rory begins to piece things together, he finds out that he's not this town's last hope to survive; He's just another pawn who's begging at this town's will.
It's all up to Iyo to find out what really happened to his best friend, Rory, and all of the other town members, before Vast finally claims checkmate.

"Brandon..... You're hurting me.", I hissed at him as he tightened his hold around my arm. "I don't give a fuck!", He hissed back digging holes inside me through his gaze. The person who stood in front of me, wasn't even a smallest, single fraction of the Brandon I loved... the Brandon who loved me. "Now listen carefully....", he dragged me as he pushed me against a wall hurting my back still holding my arm tightly. "I'm warning you for the last time.", He hissed closing the distance between the two of us to zero. His closeness still had an effect on my heartbeat that raced manically but little did it effect Brandon who stood digging holes into my entire body through his death glare. "I'm warning you for the last time... Don't test my patience. Try and act smart again and I'll show you how I can ruin you, your entire family and that little business of yours and the families of hundreds of your employees. Trust me, if killing you was an option I wouldn't have waited for a single second to get rid of you... So don't get on my nerves before I decide to change my mind.", He said out loud glaring directly into my eyes. There wasn't a small hint of sadness or sorrow but pure hatred and annoyance in his eyes as he uttered those words rendering me rather shocked. He let go off my arm and walked out I stood still, frozen at the thought of how can he hate me so much? My heart still flattered at his touch and here he was... He hated me to death! ********** For six years Amy stayed away from home, her family and friends. She ran away leaving behind everything and everyone. Even the guy she loved with all her heart. She built herself strong enough to fight the world and now she's finally back home... only to be married to ruthless, Mayor -- Brandon Mayhew, who hates her with all his might for breaking his heart. Will she be able to tame the hatred that the Mayor has for her? Or completely loose herself all over again? ***** This is book 2 to Period!

"What if the one line you swore never to cross pulled you straight to him? In the haze of desire and danger, they shattered every boundary, risking it all for a forbidden temptation they couldn't resist." "The Lines We Cross" Elias Carter lives boldly, unapologetically, and always on his own terms. A tattoo artist with a magnetic personality and a history of fleeting connections, he's never had to second-guess his charm-until now. His new college roommate is nothing like anyone he's ever met, and Elias is starting to realize that not every wall is meant to be broken down. Aiden Jeong is reserved and razor-sharp, his quiet intensity hiding a vulnerability he's worked hard to protect. With his calculated demeanor and a quiet refusal to be drawn into Elias's orbit, Aiden is a puzzle that Elias can't help but want to solve. "You don't scare me," Elias says, leaning closer, his grin teasing. Aiden's gaze doesn't waver. "Good. Then you'll hear me when I say I don't have time for games." As their lives become entangled, what begins as mutual disdain slowly gives way to an undeniable connection. Navigating the blurred lines of rivalry and attraction, Elias and Aiden find themselves caught in a world that doesn't always welcome their truth. "You keep pushing me away," Elias says, voice softening. "But what if I don't stop?" Aiden hesitates, his expression unreadable. "Then don't blame me when you fall." In a world full of expectations, crossing the line can feel like freedom-or risk losing everything.
