Jace Daniel's has never really fit in, even before he lost his family in a car crash that he was the only one to walk away from alive. The thing is, he wasn't surprised when he woke up alive after passing out to broken bones and a punctured lung, because ever since he was born, he had healed at a rate that was not humanly possible. His father looked upon him like he was a monster and treated him like one, while his mother had always called him her little angel, her miracle. They, along with his younger sister were long gone now, and after surviving the foster care system for three years, Jace was finally eighteen and free, but for how long?
Life as a drug dealer is bound to get him into some trouble soon, and when it does, how the hell will he get out of it? He has no family, well no family that he is aware of. That's until his lawyer, who knows there is no way some orphaned kid who had a knack for getting himself into trouble, would be able to afford the fine of drug possession. So he took it upon himself to try and get into contact with Jace's mothers family, a family that lived an ocean away, a family that she had run away from nineteen years ago. Guess it's time for for Jace to find out why his mum ran away and chose to live in Australia with his abusive father.
This is a story I wrote when I was thirteen while traveling around Europe with my Nan. I'm Nineteen now and only just found this story again and have decided to completely re write it since it was an okay idea but defiantly needs some improvement.

Stray Humans
It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. Long before the collapse, they began taking humans, but now, everyone knows who they are and they fear them. The few who manage to return from their captivity tell stories of how these creatures treat humans like animals or children, tending to them like pets or slaves. Most survivors live in hidden cities, avoiding the ancient ruined cities at all costs. But not Jace and his crew. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table. They are a family, working together to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near. When the aliens of A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. When Can I Hear Your Voice?
Everyone has those first day jitters, right? Would it be any different if you came from a different country? Jace Wilson has just moved from Russia to America with his dad. His first impression: America is weird. On his first day at Ocean Creek High he finds out that in America, on your sixteenth birthday, you get something taking away from you by the government. Matt Timmons is Mr. Popular. He's got all he needs. A nice house, amazing siblings, hot girlfriend, captain of the football team and good grades.
