When Valentino meets Alaska, the owner of the brand new and quickly successful Unimpressed Studios, at his studio's audition for new talent, she seems totally uninterested and pretty annoyed that she's there. Despite her icy attitude, he convinces her to work for him part time, and they start to interact a lot more. The more they're around each other, the more Val learns about Allie.. and not all of it is sunshine and success... and an unlikely friendship starts to unfold.

Despite Angel begging him not to, Arackniss confronts Valentino about freeing Angel. Val knows he can't lose his star without some sort of trade off, so he takes a good look at Arackniss and comes up with a cruel plan. Angel can be free, if Arackniss can spend 6 months doing his job instead. Every day.
