When Valentino meets Alaska, the owner of the brand new and quickly successful Unimpressed Studios, at his studio's audition for new talent, she seems totally uninterested and pretty annoyed that she's there. Despite her icy attitude, he convinces her to work for him part time, and they start to interact a lot more. The more they're around each other, the more Val learns about Allie.. and not all of it is sunshine and success... and an unlikely friendship starts to unfold.

Lucifer hates Alastor. Alastor hates Lucifer. This is QUITE obvious to everyone in the hotel. But Lucifer isn't exactly in the best state. All demons who have been in Hell 5 years or less get assigned a person to hover over until said person finally dies. This isn't to protect them; It's rather a little gesture that ensures that the person will go to Hell if that wasn't clear already. The most immoral people are typically who these demons get assigned to. Alaska, since she's only been in Hell for 2 years, is not happy in the slightest to have to go into the human world to poke and prod at some guy who's definitely going to Hell anyway. She doesn't see a point and thinks she's going to be bored to tears.
