Set in a future not too far, this tale embarks a journey into a world where humans have found a way to merge animal and human DNA, to become anthropomorphic hybrids. These new hybrids have been part of the world for years, yet some people still are disgusted with these new findings, calling them "freaks of nature." Among these new creatures, androids resembling a "fictional" species called protogens have been created by Cladeware Biotech, an institute that creates bionic limbs for both humans and Alters. But what happens when a graduate of high school meets a girl, who is labeled as a proto...but is actually something else entirely? At first he was weary...but there's something about her that makes him feel...warm. What conflicts will arise between these two? Love? Pain? Loss? Only time will tell of this semi-futuristic story of two souls, whose destinies are intertwined for this incredible story. --WARNING-- This story may contain themes not suitable for users under 18+ (includes detailed smut**, blood, violence, etc.) **Smut chapters will be labeled and set apart from the main plot, there will be references to it, but not detailed references to disturb audiences who do not want said details.
