Germany has just occupied France, and each family is required to provide a room to an officer. Amongst these families are the Drefuses. What will happen when the officer assigned to their home is nothing they expected?

Twenty years old Marie Drefuse is the only child of Brigitte and Andre Drefuse. She is in her last year of college and had hoped to travel to Spain during the summer in order to further her knowledge of it's history. However, now that the Germans have taken over, she is barely even able to go to the local market. Her hate towards the German officers grows greater with every passing day. Because of this, she is absolutely livid when her parents inform her that they will have one of them living in their home.
Enter Captain Hans Müller, a twenty-nine year old officer of the Third Reich. Despite being part of one of the most feared/ hated military units of the time, he is actually a very calm man. To be honest, he wouldn't have even joined the Third Reich if it has not been for his family's outweighing loyalty to the Fuhrer. Nonetheless, he is very excited to be stationed in France, as he has always had a great love for the culture.
