Dylan Kenmore is.... Different, to say the least.
She went to military school and graduated at 16, and was emancipated only a year before that, but by the time she hit 17, she was a train wreck. She finally starts trying to figure out how to put her life back together when something unexpected happens, something called the Marvel Project. She gets wrapped up in a world of genetic mutations and weird sciency terms she doesn't understand, just to be able to feed her girlfriend and her son.
Thing is, there's a lot more here than most people think.

Her world gets even more turned upside down when the spring break during her sophomore year she joins Nat and her friends on a spring break trip and her path crosses with Bucky Barnes. Someone whose well known at their high school who has a girlfriend but he's a party boy and does things he shouldn't behind his girlfriend's back. Bucky will soon learn that Dylan wasn't one to play his mind games with when she falls further into her world of hiding. Bucky will have to experience heart break in order to understand what it's like to truly hurt. When years past by between Bucky and Dylan without seeing or speaking to each other will their reunion be bittersweet and he finally learns the truth about Dylan and the pain she hides or will it be unfixable or will it all be a dream for Dylan?Complete

She was taken from the streets of Earth at a young age to a mining planet, Quill, to work on a project she never knew the real purpose for. Soon she became a part of a new family and gained a purpose. What she didn't know was that she was working on a next generation overwatch system called Olympus. A system keeping millions of people trapped on Quill, never to return back to Earth. All given the promise of a high reward. Instead, they were all fooled and became slaves under Olympus watching eye. Millions of humans became stranded on the red desert planet, only to extract fuel back to Earth. Kelly will understand that what she helped to created wasn't just a overwatch system, it was the very foundation of which a new kind of slavery was built on. An intergalactic treadmill to drain Earth from the unwanted. Upon deeper discovery, Kelly will find herself in the middle of an alien civil war that the humans have started and funded to keep the fear amongst the colony workers. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. She flies home from war, upset, to do what needs to be done, but once there she finds out all is not as it seems. Ellie’s daughter is alive and unhurt. She is being held by of one of the many debt-recovery corporations. Held, for leverage, to make Ellie do the corporation a favour. Ellie’s daughter will be returned unharmed if Ellie does as they wish. The son of a company director is lost somewhere in the wilderness of post-debt-restructuring America, and hasn't been seen for three days. The company wants Ellie to go and find the kid, and Ellie doesn't know if she can. The one rule she's stuck to all her working life is to never to go to America, but now she might have to.
