Under His Thumb

A new pest. That's all Devon sees, someone else who's going to kiss up to him and try to appease him. But that's not what he gets. When Nathaniel comes to Cardonia, everything changes. For Devon at least. But Nathaniel so fucking annoying to be around. Devon doesn't understand why everyone fawns around him. All he is, is another pretty face. A very pretty one albeit. But Devon feels the need to establish his place. Everyone loves the boy but what can they do to Devon? Richest student in the school, founders family, star athlete. Nothing, so they have to sit and watch as he plays his twisted games. They have to watch as he takes it way to far. But maybe he doesn't understand what 'too far' means.

A great kid. Not really popular and not too well known. Smart, probably the smartest most will ever meet. Quiet, and pretty. All of the best qualities in one person. He blends into most crowds and stays unnoticed for the most part. Until he gets to Cardonia. All of a sudden, everyone notices him and is scrutinizing every detail. Especially him. He seems to take so much pleasure in hurting him. What happens when he takes it too far? Does he even understand the concept of 'too far' ? There's obviously no way he does, that's what Nathaniel thinks at least. What did he ever do to Devon to make him hate him? Nothing he'll find out anytime soon. For now though he has to wait it out.
