I turned my head to look at him and found his face intimidatingly close to mine. I was searching through my head looking for anything to say. My instincts were telling me to push him away, but my hands wouldn't move. I was completely paralyzed by his stare.Complete

This is the tale of a girl who discovered they were no longer just a regular person when they awoke one morning. I mean waking up with wings, fangs, and fireproof skin wasn't exactly on my to-do list. Suddenly, I'm breaking doorknobs, eating enough ramen to shock the shop owner, and googling "how to demon 101." I screamed at the top of my lungs when he slashed the boy's neck with his claw. The boy next to the dead body stood frozen while he visibly squeezed the boy's head into nothing. Jack pushed me at the monster and ran out the door, but he didn't make it far. He caught up with him and bit off his head, blood trickling down his chin. Then the monster turned towards me and threw Jack through the window, loosing interest in the boy in a second. He walked towards my shaking body, leaning his 8 foot body down to mine.
