When the deputy of Riverclan is killed in a battle at sunningrocks, Redstar must choose the new deputy before sun-down. His choices are Flightheart, a kind and well-respected warrior amongst all of the clans, or Thornpelt, the best fighter in the clan. As the decision weighs heavy on him, a choice must be made.
