Her Way

Even if it wasn't planned, fate intervened. I had lost all faith in people after what happend. However, I suppose destiny had other ideas. I entered my 30s without understanding what lay ahead of me. This time around, though, I'm ready. I have evolved and I won't let anyone step over me again, I've finally stood back on my own two feet, alone. Beside me stood no one.. or so I thought.
