I raced through the woods, my heart thumping wildly as I felt the rush of freedom. Though, questions were racing through my head again and again. Like; 'why did my parents kick me out?'. I didn't care, I was free. Suddenly I came to a halt, looking around as I felt energy wave through my body, there were giant sequoias littering the surroundings, and a wide creek-river thing running through them. I looked up, dwellings made of brush, leaves, and moss were structured on branches. Some trees were even hollowed out in an attempt to make a dwelling. I was in awe as I saw these structures, unaware of the people hiding in the shadows, silently crowing around me. It wasn't long before I was pulled from my thoughts though, as a deep, brooding voice hung over me, I looked up to meet the persons eyes as they said, "Welcome to sequoia village traveler."

I sloshed through the rain, cursing at the noises I was making. A purple light whizzed through the air, hitting the tree to my left. I swerved to the right and slammed headfirst into a tree. Gods I hate this forest, my "HOME". I flipped up off the floor and started running again "You know we can't just let you leave,at least not alive",she responds.
