You are the 2nd commander of Iron Blood, taking the position of the 1st who quit nearly 2 weeks ago. While you are confident in your ability to lead and command having the war experience, you cant help but feel worried after hearing what he said to you personally.
This story takes place after the events of the anime so the siren threat has died down, however instead of making a combined base for all the factions, the higher-ups decided to keep the factions split up with their own commanders to ease tensions...well...for now anyways...

The Azur Lane Alliance, a powerful force created in the first world war and expanded upon with the intentions of fighting the Sirens as one, while at the same time preventing another large-scale war like the great war from coming about again, via gathering all the major powers under one flag. But like all good things, it doesn't last forever, and due to differing options, ideals, and repeated acts on both sides to contradict and hurt the other via diplomatic channels. The alliance begins to shift, and finally the cracks became a split! This split brought about the return of war! Full scale, large scale! The two warring factions in question, was Azur Lane, and Red Axis. Azur Lanes primary fighters being Eagle Union, Iris Orthodoxy and Royal Navy. For Red Axis, the main contenders being Iron Blood, Sardegna Empire & Sakura Empire! Ships of the Sakura Empire struck Eagle Union ships by surprised not long ago, and this action dragged the Eagle Union into the conflict without giving them a choice to ignore or try and stay out of the out-of-control flames, we call war. Meanwhile, the Iron Blood slipped into Royal navy-controlled waters, and a scuffle between the two countries flag ships was set into motion, that ultimately ended with the Royal Navys Flag Ship HMS Hood sent to the bottom of the sea. News of her death would send shockwaves across the WORLD! That would be FELT across the lands, oceans and mountains by all.
