Criminal Minds Fan-fiction:

Takes place at the start of season 4 with some alterations. Couldn't start from the beginning and go through the trauma of Tobias Hankel. Our poor baby genius! 😭

Synopsis:

After living a life of social isolation, years of studying and training, in the summer of 2008, Victoria De Luca is fresh meat upon walking into the bullpen. Finally starting her time at the BAU, working for the FBI.

While kind and hard working, she quickly makes it clear that she doesn't take any bullshit. Keeping her coworkers at arms length, telling them little to nothing about herself or her past.

Yet she finds her walls quickly crumbling at the hands of Dr Spencer Reid. Something about him allowed this feeling of easiness, opening up to the man, establishing more than the workplace persona she initially planned in keeping; the only persona she had for people who'd remain in her life long term. And not long after having an undercover mission go south, he opens her mind to the idea of letting others in, joining the BAU family he's been a part of for years.
