Billie Eilish, a freshman collegian, takes up a babysitting job in an effort to create a dent in her student loans. A wealthy mom in a less-than-perfect marriage accepts Billie's offer and agrees to pay her generously for tending to her ten-year-old son, Benjamin. She quickly grows fond of Eilish and the two become dangerously close.
