Dr. Charles could be considered an apex predator in the social ladder of Lebanese society : A high paying job, notorious positions, important contributions and glamorous marriage. That being said, even an apex can fall from its grace, and it starts with Sirène's death.
Left to fend for himself in the face of grief, his own complexes and failures to recover, Charles attempts a peculiar route that seems promising.
