The Legend of Aura Steel (Max Steel FanFic)

When Aura's body starts generating a dangerous energy, she has to risk connecting with a little alien (in more ways than one) to survive. //////
Aura McGrath knew she was a magnet for trouble. Even after moving to a new town nearly every year of her life, she never really got a chance for a clean slate. She didn't know that when she was sixteen, her body would begin generating the most powerful form of energy on the planet. She certainly didn't know that she would become linked to a small robotic alien to get her dangerous and explosive power under control and protect the people she loves.
Suspicious by nature, Aura distances herself from her mother, uncle, friends, and especially Steel. But when danger and greed strike, he risks himself for her over and over again. Finding one of the first real friends she's ever had, she learns to turn away from herself to truly sacrifice for someone she loves.
But Steel doesn't remember who he is or where he comes from. And as the truth slowly emerges, Aura begins to wonder if everything she has ever been told is a lie. When the entire Earth is at risk, she has to decide if trust is right and if Steel is worth the sacrifice she might have to make.

Basically, an AU where Jim and Molly McGrath had a daughter instead, and she grew up a little differently than Max. She is not a female Max. She's her own character. This story follows the events of the series, but it can have some small-to-major plot changes.
