Ren reluctantly accepts and nods his head to Dragon as a gesture of understanding while he walks away.

This is life for every person who has a specific time to live, but sometimes life is unfair in estimating lifespans. Evil people take longer lives than good people, but it is a fact and must be accepted. Luffy's death will come sooner or later due to a strange disease he contracted, but no one knows, and all that matters to Luffy is that he achieved his dream and most of his friends' dreams, except for two people. He was sad because he would leave them halfway, but he knows that they are strong and will get through this ordeal and continue on the path to achieving their dreams.
