3 years after a global pandemic the world has changed irreparably. Armed forces keep order and persistent propaganda is on display everywhere: "Be Vigilant. Be safe.", "Obey the curfew. Stay Indoors" and the worst of all "Don't look at the moon".
A short story based on a group story prompt.
Once a month our group takes it in turns to add a prompt. Everyone writes a tale between 500 - 1,000 words, and shares with the group!

This Year's Knock of Death

We don't know who stole it but only know that it was a group of men who wore bill hats and gasmasks along with tactical vests! This virus is seemed highly dangerous and it's been confirmed that it is being sold as a mind altering drug! - "We've been getting reports that some of the people who take Skyrofym are having a weird craving for flesh, they only bite themselves though. We'll keep you updated! Lock your doors and windows New York! And good night!" - "The symptoms are getting worse! We've just had a few fatalities with other people! These flesh craving maniacs are under control for now so don't worry New York! We will talk to Dr. Cell about the problem!"
