Nesta was a girl without a wolf, she was human. She could not yet feel the mate bond for she had to be marked and mated first in order to do so. But with the impression Viego was leaving on her, she found herself conflicted with the choice of staying forever and becoming a leader of a wolf pack, or leaving for good and resuming human life.

"You're the Luna." He didn't even spare me a glance as he took off his jacket and threw it onto the chair in his room.

I was starstruck by his words. Never in a million years did I ever think I could be disrespected in such a way and still keep my cool. After a short second my words slashed the silence.
