Twenty years ago an infant was born who reunited both human realms. This child would be their beacon of hope and peace. Once the child was born a dark swept the land for half an hour. The queen of that child prayed to the fae gods. The fae gods made a deal with queen. In order for her child to live she must give her child to the heir of the light fae kingdom when she became of age. The queen agreed but kept the deal a secret.
Marianna is the heir to the throne of the human realm. The dark fae realm and the light fae realm dwell on either side of the kingdom. Marianna used to think her life was simple until her father marries lady melody, who is the reason her mother is no longer alive. No matter how hard she tells her father the truth he won't listen. But it seems that it's not the first time her father wouldn't listen.
The dark fae prince is invited to the human kingdom on behalf of lady melody. Who thinks she made a deal with the dark fae king and queen to marry Marianna. Marianna is told to accompany the prince during his stay and convince him to marry her cousin. That would be a lie. Marianna finds out the truth and has to make a choice that can keep her family safe or destroy everything her mother had built.

The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Currently as I was walking I got robbed by two people then beat me up and left me. I forced myself to stand as each of my body parts hurt like hell then I check my phone to see it was 1 am with no calls from anyone as expected. I started to limp forward crossing the road I hear a sound I look to my left to see a small thing coming at me. As it got closer I saw it was a truck before I can even dodge it hit me hard. The king has been betrayed by his own beta and was killed by his own hands. The queen uncertain of what she should do to protect her young lad, sent him with the guards to her sister to the other side of the world.
