This is a very short story about an encounter in the woods.
I usually don't write these kind of stories but I want to try something new.
If I get inspired to write more in the future, a few things will change.

The Winged
Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. Not to mention the struggles of getting from place to place... but the worst of it all? Humans. Once a year, every year, summer sweeps over the forest. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before.
