I didn't know anything about K-pop other than what I heard from her, but it hadn't convinced me to check anything out. So, when Ma-Ri told me she'd bought me VIP tickets with a Meet & Greet for my birthday, I wasn't too amused. 
I mean, finding a present that actually suited me couldn't be that difficult for a best friend, now could it? This seemed more of a present for her, than for me.
