Amaryllis knows where she belongs. Lolt Cross is a city for the Broken, the ones who were contained after the virus. She's an Obsidian, she knows everything about everyone. They all know that the city for the normalities is just across the bridge. But the bridge has a gate, and normalities don't even know they exist. That is...until 4 normalities are brought in as a "peace offering" for a test drive over boundaries, and one is interested in the Broken. In Amaryllis. Kaslyn knows she's not supposed to have many interactions with them. She knows she's not supposed to be interested in the Broken. But she doesn't care. Even if Amaryllis doesn't seem interested in her, she knows well enough that she can ask her about the virus. About them. Kaslyn wants to know more about Amaryllis' people. Her home. Amaryllis is scared to know Kaslyn to figure out anything about her. She barely talks to anyone but her best friend and her father.

"Amaryllis, right?" The girl yells, her eyes are brown, natural colors. She looks normal. The marks that show up on the Broken in their color, the eyes that let everyone know that the Broken are dangerous..they aren't there..I look at my best friend, Harlinan, who shrugs. "Uhm..yes? How can I help you..? Are you lost?" I try to read her. She's easy enough to do so. But I can only see one thing. A defensive line in her mind. She has the mark of The Society, she's protected by law... I snap out of it, looking back at her, pushing my bangs out of my face as she says something. "My name is Kaslyn Harrison. I'm the daughter of the President's right hand. I'm one of four transfer students who came to this school." She holds out her hand, I shake my head softly.
"Okay.. May I ask from what school?"
She holds up two fingers, kissing her lips & marking her heart. Harlinan and I give, knowing terrified glances. "Adena High!"
