Eight years after a deadly explosion in the heart of Times Square, the island of Manhattan becomes home to those known to the larger population as the Infected - though the official term is Esper. They are quarantined from the rest of the world in order to keep the Infection from spreading, essentially turning the once famous tourist spot into a prison with no escape. 20-year-old Nero has spent nearly half his life living inside the barrier. Along with his closest friends, he's made a reputation for himself hunting down those like him who seek to cause trouble.
