Cal and Merrin have been together for two years after joining the Mantis team and found out that a baby girl is arriving soon. Their joy at meeting their daughter is nearly wiped out by the fear of the consequences of Ilyana being a force-sensitive child, given the Empire's dominion over the galaxy. Their family will do everything possible to protect her, but how long before the Empire discovers this budding Jedi aboard the Mantis?
This fanfic uses characters and story from the Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor canon. I do not own any of the characters in the story. The name Ilyana is from Star Wars canon, but her character in this story is my own. The timeline for certain canon events will be rearranged in this story so if you notice inaccuracies, that's why.
Written in 3rd person omniscient. As I continue writing this story, my earlier chapters will be edited and revised as I see fit.

This is a Star Wars story that takes place during the sequel trilogy (The Force Awakens - The Rise of Skywalker.) Like with my other story I will be changing some things up for this story as I like the idea of having these changes in there. I'll also be using some characters from the Star Wars Lengend's continuity. Which is one of those changes. I'll also be spitting this story into three parts one for each movie. (Though you could probably tell by the title.) Also I'll be changing up a couple of the characters ages and a bit of the timeline. And just so everyone knows in this story Rey will not be related to the Emperor. Which is another change. He will still have an interest in turing her to the darkside but that's it. In her struggle to accept her mother's death and redefine her legacy as a Kenobi, she meets Cal Kestis, another Jedi who understands her more than anyone else in the Galaxy. That doesn't make it any easier to tell him the truth, though. With this unexpected journey Terra begins, she learns the truth to more secrets than she thinks possible.
