Try being the baddest of them all when the Puberty Truck is smacking you in the face--repeatedly. It's a hard time for young, attractive villains who haven't reached eighteen. And you'd think they already have enough to deal with when their worst urban legend fear appears: The Hero. So isolating evil-minded, puberty-hitting, aggressive teenagers into a confined brick building may not be the most intelligent choice of mankind. It was inevitable for there to be one hell of a problem. And that problem was me.

This is a story from a villains perspective. I'm Kit. Just Kit. My parents were expecting a boy when I was born. I was meant to be the greatest villain of all time. They thought a boy would be better for the job, but they got me. I was raised as they would've raised a son. I trained hard. I never went to school. Until now. I am fifteen years old and my mission is to take the best Hero's son. People don't get what made me this way, ruthless, emotionless, deadly... I am here to tell you why I am the way I am. I am Kit and this is MY SIDE.

Chrysanthemum Academy is essentially a college for young heroes. If you can actually be accepted into this college then you have what it takes to become an elite hero. How do these students fair in the real world? Fighting real villains is harder than it seems. What will they do when the world is in jeopardy? Being a hero is a lot harder than you think.

At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. This prestigious high school has had lawyers, politicians, police officers, as well as the world's number one superhero, Halen, pass through its gates. Every year, a new group of ten freshmen hoping to become a superhero begin their journey here. These students must be at the top of their class and pass a rigorous physical and written exam. Once they become a Vindicator, these students go through four years of training and learning to use their ability at their highest power.
