Kaylee's (main character) POV
When I walked through the doors of Brookewood, something seemed strange. Usually, when I walk through the doors, they're either gossiping about me and what I'm wearing (skinny jeans, vans, and a blouse) or some other people, but today, not at all. They were all fixing their hair and chattering with excitement as if a hot new guy has now enrolled to Brookewood. Luckily after seeing/experiencing that crazy mess, I see my best friend, Sydney at her locker. But as I'm getting ready to say, "thank god" in my head, i notice she's doing the same exact thing! "Why has the world gone mad", I say with my hands in the air, being slightly too loud. "What do you mean?", Sydney replies. "Everyone is going beauty ballistic, and not only is it annoying but I have no idea why!!", I say; as I'm getting books out of my locker. Sydney chuckles, "Dude, relax. There's a new guy and-" I interrupt her, " Today?". Sydney replies in a salty tone, "Yes. And he's super hot."
