Requiem of a Fallen

Good is not kind, Black is not evil.

Sheltered behind the curtain of clouds was a realm made for beings made of light, creatures made by a divine entity known as a God. Such beings swore to protect the heavens and the balance of the other realms, acting as the defender of mankind against evil. Since the dawn of time, these beings were created to fend off the darkness with their light. Vessels of purity and divinity with the sole purpose of following the will of their God. However, though the divine was good, they were not kind, and neither was fate.

A prophecy had befallen the heavens, carved in stone, known only by a few.

An angel with wings of ebony black, scorched from his fall from the heavens, will rise from the ruins of tragedy. Consumed by his despair, he will bring forth a calamity that will sow unrest in all the realms. A seed planted by a deity forged by the misery of humanity.

But before that, he was once a boy. A boy that held the stars in his eyes and only knew how to hold the world with gentle hands. And that boy was named Salvation. An angel born, rather than made. His mother was once a seraph before she was banished from her lord's side because of a sin.

This story will tell Salvation's tale before he fell.
One that will inevitably end in tragedy.
But before that, there was hope.
