This story was a Lit Riff project for my A.C.C English class. We were required to pick a song and write a short story based on the song, music video, emotions that the song made us feel, or an idea that was sparked from listening to the song. The song that I chose was "Take Me to Church" by Hozier.

Wicked Sinners is about an alternate universe, where everyone is Homosexual and it's an abomination to be Heterosexual (or at least where the story is placed). The town where Rosalina Kurban, aka Rose, lives also is home of the Eastboro Traptist Church (yes puny) and where the Prophet Fred Teufel preaches his sermons about Ature (their God). From then on you will just have to read to find out!
Fun face: all the names in the story represent a characteristic of the character or foreshadow something that will happen to the character.

I made up Ature to symbolize a God in this town. However, I do use bible verses to explain the story both on sexuality, forgiveness, salvation, and love. This story is not attacking religion or sexuality, it was just an idea for a short story in an English Class. So if you don't like the topic or what the story talks about I would advise you not to read it. Also when writing this story I had never heard of a story or film that touched or represented this topic, but was later told a film came out that had the same bases of the idea. None of the works of the film had any influence on this story, and to this day I have not seen the video. Okay have fun reading.
