    Dean saved Mollie Victorson from a coven of witches three years ago, he killed all the witches and in retrospect that was a mistake because before she died the last witch, one of the most powerful witches Dean had ever seen, put a spell on Mollie that took away her voice. Mollie couldn't make a sound and Dean had no idea how to restore her voice. 
    
    Mollie was 12 at the time and her whole family had been killed so Dean took her in and she became like the daughter Dean never had, she was a fast learner and quickly picked up sign language and how to hunt. She was close woth John and she even started calling him "Grandpa", Dean was "Papa" and when she met Bobby he was "Granddaddy". 
    
    that was three years ago now, Mollie is now 15 and has taken the Winchester name, when John goes missing on a hunt, Dean packs his still mute daughter into the Impala and they head out to California to get her Uncle Sammy.
