A quick view of the
new world

It took ten years.
Ten short years
Maybe Less.

The Carvox were gone, driven away, and sent into hiding.
Without their guidance, the elements settled.

The air became thick, stale, uncirculated, it became hard to
breath. The earth became dry, as no water flowed freely underground, or above.
Lakes and rivers turned stagnant as the currents ceased to exist. Then
everything became hot as humans lost all control over fire and heat. The world
grew dark, all light seeped into the ground, and the shadows grew and grew
until they covered everything.

Power danced from one hand to the next. Each person in power
eventually reduced to nothing but a blubbering mess and control finally fell
into the wrong hands.

Lamia Tzila, along with her colleagues, Cain Boyle and
Bryce Hendrix, shaped the world in their image. Humans were reduced to nothing
but slaves, labouring for her cause, whether they wanted to or not. Under her
eye and her dark followers, the world could do nothing but give in.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Long ago, humans with supernatural abilities began to appear in our world. These gifted humans possessed strange powers such as super strength, the ability to fly, or control over elements. However, these gifted humans were few in number. Soon, the normal humans grew jealous of their power. They shamelessly threw these "freaks" out of their homes. They were beaten, abused, and treated as slaves. Eventually, the gifted humans rebelled, and a great war began between them. This war would last for years and lead to countless lives lost. Realizing they could never coexist, the gifted humans decided to create a world where they could live freely. This world became known as Trabachi. Hundreds of years later, enter our main character. Luke Sky lives on Earth, where people had long forgotten about the great war and gifted humans. He receives a letter inviting him to Trabachi. There he discovers that what he once thought was impossible was actually possible. He finds out that not only does he have awesome super powers, but he is the chosen hero the entire kingdom has been waiting for. For not every Trabacian has forgiven the humans for what they did to their ancestors. And they are ready to take revenge on them all. -------------------------------------------------- Update! No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. New chapters will be posted on Fridays for as long as it takes to tell the whole story. (Book 1 of the Y/n Hale Series) Hi. I'm Y/n. I live in Beacon Hills with my dad and my cousin. I'm starting the High School here soon. I know a few people already. They're older than me but I only know them because of my dad. Stiles, Scott, Derek, Braeden, Malia, Allison, Lydia and Jackson. Allison died when Stiles was possessed by the Nogitsune and Jackson moved away to London after he was taken over by a homicidal lizard called the Kanima. There was also a boy named Isaac who moved away with Allison's dad Chris to France. And then there were twin Alpha's called Ethan and Aiden. Aiden died also during the time with the Nogitsune. But Ethan left after everything was over. But none of us know where he went to. I miss Allison so much. She was like a sister to Me. I'm also a werewolf by the way. The only downside to it is I have blue eyes. Which has to mean I killed an innocent. It was my best friend. Her name was Emily. She was hurt badly in a car accident and it was determined she didn't have long left. So her, knowing I had these powers asked me to give her the bite. But I didn't want to because I was scared it would kill her. It could have gone one of two ways: It could have either killed her or cured her. I told her that because she was so weak it could kill her more than it could save her. But she didn't care and I gave it to her. I miss her so much. She's gone and it's all my fault. I've never forgiven myself. I am also the first of my kind in Beacon hills, a werewolf hybrid. "Considering my drawing of a tree led us to the Nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tries to kill us." These chains... they bind me. Her face... it reminds me. My love was turned to hate, my freedom revoked by those who subjugate. That nightmare became a reality. That fateful day when the blood-red sky wept. And the rest of the world slept. When we became your slaves. All that is left, is survival!
