Stolen from her people as a child and raised in slavery, Lyrin has no memory of her lineage or the ancient power that once flowed through her ancestors blood. Sold into servitude on the far-away island of Harnok, she is used for a harrowing purpose; until one fateful moonlit night.

With a song that echoes through the forested mountains, Lyrin unknowingly calls upon the ancient unicorns, the last guardians of the silvery Wyrd. These mystical beings take her under their care, raising her up to finally reveal the truth: Lyrin is the lost Empress of Moonstone, heir to an empire whose power was robbed long ago. To reclaim her throne and restore balance to the now Blighted lands, she must journey to the empire she once knew and face the woman who betrayed her family.

But the path is fraught with danger. Lady Jada Hailstrom, the traitor who snatched the Moonstone's power and her birthright, now wields its magic to conquer the realm. With her in control of the ancient stone, a Blight has tainted the world, consuming creatures and humans alike in its dark hunger. The unicorns' are disappearing with every use of the stone, fighting off the Blight until the Empress can be restored to her rightful place. As Lyrin grapples with her heritage and the cost of wielding such immense power, she must make a devastating choice.

In a world on the brink of darkness, only the Empress of Moonstone can restore the light... but at what cost?
